Martin Russell Johnson is a photographer, filmmaker, podcaster, diversity advocate, and mentor to underserved youth who’d like to pursue careers in entertainment. An alumnus of The Los Angeles Film School, Martin wrote, directed, and produced his first film at the age of eighteen. His goal is to use his artistic voice and vision to create content from diverse perspectives that could unite humanity through a single lens.
As an introvert masquerading as a social butterfly, photography is the one art form that allows him to calm his soul. When you’re looking at one of his photos, he’s attempting to lure you out of the turbulence of your world and into the comfort of your creative mind. “If everyone tapped into their own creativity, the world would be thriving and unafraid of the fabricated differences that separate us”, he says.
