Artist Daniel Gonzalez

Growing up in the Southwest along the US/Mexican border and on the Navajo Reservation left a strong impression and is often a source of inspiration for my work. I enjoy drawing as long as I can remember. I’m predominantly an oil painter, and enjoy exploring charcoal, gouache, digital, and other mediums. Having a great reverence for life is a common theme in my work. I also explore my memories and stories in narrative paintings.

This artists work is also featured in the Long Beach ArtWalk Magazine Fall Issue. The magazine can be downloaded or purchased in print here.
